Our campsite is a slightly sloping field an
acre in size with fantastic views across the Esk Valley and the moors.
There is plenty of space for tents or caravans plus hard standing for
Campervans. Without a doubt our USP is the sunsets we get here, they can be really very special!
We also have a Farm Shop Vending machine at our neighbouring farm Wild Slack. It’s only a short walk across the fields and we sell our own Oxford Sandy and Black Pork, Heather fed Blackface lamb and grass fed Shorthorn beef.
We welcome dogs but with the possibility of livestock around, they must be well behaved!
The facilities are only a few steps away from the camping area in a converted farm building.
We have two toilets and also a drying area should the heavens open! We also have three free spacious showers and an outdoor sink for washing up.
We sell our own produce including sausages, dry cured bacon, and eggs, perfect for a morning fry-up from our frozen vending machine. We also sell lamb burgers, chips and beef too!
We also have an offgrid Yurt with a hottub, Gypsy wagon, 2 landpods and 2 cabins both with wood fired hot tubs. More information can be found for these on the Glamping page.

Prices are for 2 people. Extra adults are £5 p.p.p.n

To secure a booking, we do require a small deposit of £25
Please note, we don't accept groups due to the size of the campsite.

At our neighbouring site at Wild Slack we have a vending machine which we sell our own produce from. You will find,
- Sausages (pork, pork and leek, Cumberland and tomato)
- Dry cured bacon
- Pork Chops
- Burgers (pork and apple, lamb, beef and buffalo)
- Various beef, lamb and pork joints
- Plenty of ‘specials’, lamb chops, spare ribs, lamb shanks, lamb liver, rump steaks etc
